YOU Travel Levin has been in Levin, in one guise or another for over 50 years, located in various locations, and has always been owner operated. When I arrived on the scene 15 years ago, we were a Harvey World Travel branded store located in a long narrow shop at the back of the Mall facing out onto the car park.
Wow have things changed since then. It wasn’t long before we changed our name to United Travel and moved to our current location in the Kent & Little Building, 29A Queen Street West. The move was one of the best decisions the company has made. A light, open plan office with plenty of space.
Six years ago, we rebranded to YOU Travel Levin and if you missed us before our lovely bright pink office is now hard to miss. A large corner office space with plenty of windows, visible from the Queen Street traffic lights and the Queen Street West roundabout, not to mention the pink exterior.
We are extremely proud to say that we have weathered the covid storm. Many other retail travel agencies haven’t been so lucky and have been forced to close as international travel dried up due to border closures and strict quarantine requirements. I am also very proud to say that due to a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes during that time we secured almost total refunds or credits for all our clients who had their travel plans destroyed by the pandemic.
That has now changed with borders reopening and international travel again on the rise. We look forward to welcoming clients back into the office to assist them with all their travel needs and creating the holiday of their dreams or just a flight across the Tasman to see family and friends.

Travel requirements are more complicated than ever before. Each airline and country can often have different and multiple requirements for entering and exiting a destination, often taking effect before you even board the plane.
